- Provide L2 support for Linux/Unix clusters of servers running web applications, ensuring they meet all infrastructure and network requirements, data synchronization and DNS settings.
- Leverage Unix command-line tools (vi, find, grep, ps, awk, sed) in daily system administration tasks to automate processes, troubleshooting issues, and optimize server performance.
- Develop automation scripts using Bash or Shell scripting languages to reduce manual workload and improve processes efficiency.
- Schedule and perform Server patches to update security policies and OS versions using Ansible Playbooks.
- Build Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and XLR for automating, deploying and perform service operations for applications on Unix/Linux servers.
- Configure Cloudwatch on AWS EC2 instance and S3 bucket, ensuring that Unix/Linux instances health and efficiency is monitored continuously.
- Perform weekly code deployment on test environments and validate servers health. Troubleshoot falied test cases and resolve/provide analysis report.
- Use BMC Remedy(ITSM tool) for Service order management (SOM) to troubleshoot and provide Root cause analysis along with documented resolutions to customer issues.
- Provision and maintain instances for clusters on PCF cloud by restaging, scaling them up and down based on requirements and load of traffic.
- Create and Configure Group address to load balance traffic between datacenters by whitelisting TCP/IP addresses and establish connectivity with ports between applications.
Minimum Education Requirement:- This position requires, at a minimum, a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.
